Couleur rubis. À l'ouverture, les aiguillettes de conifères dominent. Un nez de petit bois aromatique (santal) soutenu par un soupçon de vanille.
Encore ferme et relativement jeune, ce Charmes n'est pas le plus démonstratif. Un beau fruit, une concentration est moyenne tout au plus, mais l'équilibre est là. Je crois que la relative sévérité de l'élevage a quelque peu gommé le coté empyreumatique du terroir.
Un beau vin, mais on attend plus d'un 1e cru. Peut-être faut-il l'attendre une ou deux années de plus.

Not very charming for a "Charmes", the nose is nice after opening up for a couple of hours but to me the moth did not deliver for a 1er Cru, there was too much wood present and the wine lacked weight, still some nice strawberry fruit in this bottle but the mouthfeel a little hard and tannic and thinned out. Don't think this will get much better as the fruit will fade if you wait for the wood to integrate.

Initial a little bit oaky, bright fruit and some sandalwood. Onthe Palate fruit forward, very smooth tannins, fine and pretty good length, accessibe but a little bit young and a little bit „modern“.
Not out of balance, good, but not my favourite style of burgundy.

Aucun passage en carafe; après 1hr en bouteille il se met à chanter. Joli bouquet sensuel il y a tout ce qu'on aime de Chambolle; fruits frais surtout des fraises, menthe fraîche, bois de santal, etc. Une légère astringence en bouche et une certaine minceur impacte le pointage malheureusement. Un autre 2-3 ans en cave est nécessaire avant qu'il atteigne son sommet.
Har hatt den vinen 2 ganger tidligere ca 3 mnd siden - da var den korrekt, åpen, elegant og veldig tiltalende. Ny flaske testet, og den har startet sin lukkefase. Vinen har mye underliggende frukt som ligger i dvale, en del spice, men lite annet. I munn er den ren og pen, men har en bitter tone i seg jeg ikke har opplevd tidligere fra denne vinen. Drikke fra 2022.

Herlig sexy parfymert nese med granateple, jordbær, godteributikk, og elegante florale toner. Åpen, luftig og lett. Magisk! Over i munn føles den litt mer uferdig - Det er noen skarpe kanter her. Men bevares, dette er flott. Fin kvalitet på frukten, god konsentrasjon og meget frisk. Medium lang finish med fine godt merkbare tanniner. Noe bitterhet i finish. Meget bra vin, som trenger noen år for å slipe av kantene. 91-92p Rundt bordet synes de jeg var for streng med poengene!
Bright and brilliant cherry red. Lovely perfumed aroma with raspberries and candystore, and a gentle touch of smoke and wood.
Red berries and pepper on the palate with razor-sharp acidity. Light but adequate concentration, finely grained tannins provide structure. Very juicy with a good length. A really nice wine.

In the mix of youthful fruit and floral tones this is (obviously) dominated by puppy fat. A lot is going on, but it is hard to grasp it all as it is at the moment. Great structure, good length on the finish, balance already nice - but there is so much more to reveal with age, although these are great also when drinking young.
