Medium to light purple with minimal garnet. Raspberry cherry and spice with a hint of green. Palate is medium bright raspberry with cherry and spice. Medium acid and fine tannins with a long finish. Might try a 1 hour decanting.

Popped and poured with dinner. Nice fruit-forward shiraz that does a good job of masking the ABV level (15.4). Notes of stewed red fruit on the palate. Decent QPR.

Not complex, big ripe black and blue fruit. Has some Menthol that I'm not crazy about. The wife really likes, would supply her with $15 winre if I could consistently get away with it

75cl - Huarpe Wines and others (75cl Tasting Lab, Jalan Kilang Barat): clear, deep ruby with purple edges; clean, pronounced nose of blackcurrant, mint, coffee, chocolate; dry, medium acid, tannic, full body, blackcurrant, pepper, toffee, coffee, chocolate, oak; great structure!

Nice wine and QPR. Fruit, licorice and underbrush as mentioned. Medium tannins but short grip gives way to a comfortable finish that is easy to drink. Had a second taste two days later with perhaps a bit more wood but enjoyable

Popped and poured. Nose of blackberry, black plum, mocha, spice and licorice. A black and red fruit core with notes of mocha, underbrush and vanilla on the palate. Leads to a medium to long finish. Full bodied with a rich texture. A good QPR.

Clear, medium+ ruby appearance. Nose is clean with medium intensity and notes of floral, vanilla, black fruit and licorice. Palate is dry with medium acidity, medium+ tannins and medium+ body. Black fruit, vanilla and pepper. Medium+ finish.
Very good wine and varietally correct for a Barossa Shiraz.

Popped and poured. Black plum, blackberry, vanilla and dried herbs on the nose and palate. Leads to a long finish. Full bodied with a jammy, dense texture. Pure Barossa Shiraz. Highly extracted, monstrous and well balanced. A well made wine and very good QPR. Paired with macoroni, cheese and broccoli.

"2016" Sydney International Wine Show - stewarding notes; 10/11/2015-10/15/2015 (Blue Mountains, NSW): {screwcap, 15.4} Sweet jammy fruits. The bottle wears a US importer’s label, and the contents confirm every prejudice about the great unwashed wine drinkers of that nation. So, sweet red fruit, little tannin, low acid, short finish. An OK quaffer; doesn’t finish obviously sweet, avoids too much heat remarkably, but something to drink in a hurry, that’s for sure.

russocaster put it well; a lot of character for an unpretentious wine. Cool serving temperature is important to conceal the alcohol in this one. Dark purple, nose of blue fruit, brown sugar. On the palate, dark fruits and peppery finish. not bad for <$15

Meh. Good flavour as you'd expect from a Shiraz, but lots of sediment.

Is approaching its sweet spot. Now is the time to start drinking. Not an in-your-face Shiraz so it is a bit more versatile than u think.

Didn't wow me at first - got much better the second day - most likely needs decanted before drinking.

Very smooth and easy to drink. Sensed some tannins and got a little better on day 2. Bought a case for some near term aging.

Three rings.
One: open bottle
Two: decant and wait about two hours
Three: drink and enjoy a quality wine

Unpretentious but with a lot of character. Spicy rich, with red fruit goodness. Better after 20 minutes. Pairs very well with grilled meat, burgers.
