Great bottle. A lot of secondary development, but still quite youthful. The bottle needed over an hour to open up and it was singing as we were finishing it off.

Mature Cote de Beaune: 1959 to 1990 (Langham Place Hotel, Mongkok, Hong Kong): Half-glass drank at a pre-dinner tasting (from magnum). Brick-red amber colour with a dusky appearance....looks rather old. Nose is dilute, very light, minty and with a dominant Madiera element. Palate is better.... light but powerful, plummy, prunes, nutmeg, still some fruit but no length or resonance. Past its prime. My 10/12, Group's #10.
