This bottle was previously Coravin'ed, but this note is based on popping the cork. Nice nose of leather, black fruit and some wood spice. Soft and lithe on the palate. Black cherry, plum, cassis. Lots of fine tannin on the lengthy, lingering finish. Good acidity.

We love this producer. This bottle was brought back from our trip staying at the Inn at the Abeja in the spring of 2016, which probably makes our opinion of this wine somewhat biased. Nevertheless, it was excellent!

Lot of spice and pepper...noticeable oak. Very good backbone and length and I think this still has some time to lay down. It's a great daily drinker but just doesn't have depth of fruit or complexity.

Medium dark ruby crimson. Nose of vanilla and pencil shavings, traces of graphite and forest vegetation. Taste is grounded in cool stone fruit, but a bit young on the attack. Should smooth out considerably in 3-5 years, even though they bill this as drink sooner. From experience I know this lasts longer.

started harsh with a lot of sour tasts. after a couple of hours, smoothed out with good aromas of dark fruits with tastes to compliment.
