Nice Rosso di Montepulciano. More depth than some vino nobile. Cherry fruit with some blackcurrant and spices. Fresh and medium bodied on the palate with some ripe tannins. The finish is medium long and remains fresh. Could have mistaken this for a good Chianti!
Good QPR at this pricepoint in NL @ AH

Significantly weaker of previous years. Medium body, bright ruby red color, lightly aromatic, red fruits, floral, flowers and dominantly spices aroma, liquid cherry, plum notes and herbs on the palate, spicy finish, medium long finish, light and easy, young, simple, well balanced, lovely acidity, thin tannins, food friendly. Well associates with pasta and tomatoes. Serve 16º - 22º. Drink 2016 and next couple years.

Nose of red berries, warm earth, jam. Palate of red fruits, spice, quickly into a tannic, dry finish. Its OK.

Very nice, smooth tannins, fruity and elegant, yet with a good backbone. 88-89. Great QPR at €8 discount price, still good QPR at €12.
