  • Despite being well past its prime, this still exhibits most of the character that made me love it at the winery. Golden yellow after so long in bottle as opposed to the pale green at bottling (from the blue-hued Honig bottles). Honeysuckle nose and chewy, honey-tinged front end. Complex notes of oak and vanilla and a lingering finish. An outstanding wine.
