Not very big nose, it seems a bit closed. Resolved notes of bright red fruit, minerals, hits of oak, juniper and liquorice. Palate is all about bright cherry. Elegant and feminine with a silky texture. Might lack a bit of structure and powers but its nice and fruit forward with a long refreshing finish.

Burgundy Tasting at Chevalier Wines: Strangely a bit herbal on the nose... am I detecting some green meanies in 2013? Uncomfortable heat on the palate combined with a bit of overwroughtness makes this wine not work. It's lacking the stuffing to handle all of the treatment.

Knightsbridge Annual Holiday Burgundy/Champagne Tasting and Sale (Northbrook, IL): Tasting, brief note. Red fruit with early emerging earthiness. Good in a slightly lighter and rustic manner. Nice balance.

Tasting of 2013's at Domaine de la Pousse d'Or (Volnay): Dark red. Brambly ripe cherry fruit. Medium weight. Tart, earthy finish. Substantial but may be overbalanced to acidity.
