One of those Cabernet's whose flavor you would describe as grapey, like you would expect from a Davis clone 6 or 7 type wine. Deep purple color. Unfortunately a little more residual sugar than desired. Very Central Coast, close to over ripe, blackberry, cherry and plum flavors. Something leafy and sappy in the background. Mildly gritty tannins. Maybe even a touch of eucalyptus and evergreen. Kind of grows on you with some air and time in the glass. The finish has some oak, acid and tannin that slowly but surely make you believe this is a bargain for under $10.

Full fruit, longer finish, actually a better wine than expected.
