Tight and closed at first, opened up nicely after an hour when the Cab Franc began to wake up. Past peak 2 hours later. Short drinking window. Dark fruits, cocoa, medium tannins. This is not the average Merlot, has some similarities to a Cab as the Cab Franc asserts itself. Good QPR.

Medium/dark ruby hue. Closed down at first, then opened up after 30-45 minutes to reveal red fruits, minerals, herbs, and pine. Smooth and silky body. Lovely WA merlot and excellent QPR at the heavily-discounted full pull price. Drink soon.

Aromatic nose of red and dark fruits, chocolate and hint of vanilla. Balanced with medium to soft tannins and notes of dark berries, cherries, chocolate, vanilla with touch of spice. This has aged gracefully. Nice QPR under $11

Delicious, but not loving the nose. Hoping it blows off after a few hours.

Red fruit after 1 hour slow ox. Kept pace with 2016 coda and Delille Syrah blend. Amazing QPR for 10 spot.

Hard to believe it was only $10. 9 years of aging, very smooth, nice mouthfeel.

Good if you like French oak. The nose is balanced with fruit and oak, but the palate is quite oaky.

Pnp. Red fruits. Still Very lively for 7 years bottle age. This is decent juice for the dough. I like the label.
