A nice Israeli red that takes it easy with the oak. Ink red in color, orange rims. Forest fruit on the nose. Currants, a small hint of vanilla, moderate toasted wood, a long finish. Round texture. Yum.

If there's such a thing as Middle-Eastern Claret, then Castel are the only ones capable of making it. A nice nose of cassis, cedar and pencil shavings. Elegant and restrained on the palate, with refined tannins and dark berries. Medium length. A less weighty wine than the Grand Vin but a very nice wine.
