Purchased at half price ($10) and it was probably worth that. Very short finish, lots of green pepper. Might try again, but I expected more from a $20 Washington Cab.

Tasted blind. Had no clue what this was. Coffee, earth, crushed rocks, and cherry on the nose. The palate was almost oxidized, definitely older juice, with iron, red cherry, burnt rubber palate with high acid content and moderate tannins. Thought it was an Italian Sangiovese of some sort. Boy was I wrong. I didn't particularly like this that much. I understand that this winery holds their wines back until they feel they're ready to drink. Reviewed a TN from previous experience and it sounds like it has just fallen apart over a year?

Specialty Tasting: Super ripe fruit, almost plummy or raisiny, on the nose. This affected me negatively, as the palate seemed to carry these characteristics, along with loads of spice. Light tannins, and while I found it uninteresting, I'm sure some people would love this style. Lots of fruit for its age. Tasted this wine blind tonight, with a different line up, and can't believe, despite some simalarities in TN's, how much differently I rated it at an earlier tasting... One of the biggest discrepencies I've had so far...

Washington Wine Tasting: This has some gorgeous fruit, along with mouthwatering acidity. That works as a description for a lot of Washington wines. This seems like a very young wine still, but ready to drink. I guess that's what happens when you wait to put out your wine when it's ready. NIce job. 90-91

Very nice with a red meat dinner! Cherry and currant nose. Slow to open up. We pulled the cork about an hour before dinner. We should have made that two hours. It took some time for the fruit to come out. The wine is full, but not at all sweet. Nice tanin to cut the richest meal. I wish I had another bottle!

Drank right after the 2000 Reininger Cab and this was night and day. This was much darker, much more tannic and more vegital. Not a big fan of the Otis Vinyard series.

Sweet oak, black currants, and vanilla on the nose. The palate is a little lighter than anticipated. Blackberies, plums, toast and a hint of mocha. Soft tannins and balanced acidity. Very nice, what I would consider mature Cab from this winery.

Definitely past its prime. Still has that coffee cherry feel but very flat.

Oak, coffee, cherry, bourbon, capsicum. Acidity is okay, but this has that boring Washington Cab profile.

Perhaps I waited to long to drink (summer 2010).

Wonderful nose. Still tons of fruit left. A bit lighter and more food friendly than most CA cabs (a good thing).
