  • Tasted in double-blind fashion, this medium garnet wine was easily identified as a Central Coast Pinot. Bright cherry, strawberry and cola aromas and flavors reside in a medium-bodied, freshly acidic frame. The lightweight tannins are silky and there is no heat from the wine's 14% alcohol. Solid in the middle and concluding with a smooth, medium-length finish, this is a well-made, albeit somewhat simple Pinot Noir. It should be at its best over the next three years. Drink now-2018.
