Very pale color. Slightly grassy, mostly peach and citrus (with grapefruit most prominent for me). Nice acidity with a notable creaminess. Very enjoyable and worth getting more.

Wonderful tropical fruit nose (lychee? guava?). Easy drinking, a bit buttery with good balance of fruit and acid. An appealing peppery finish. My favorite of the generally lackluster wines served at the Indigo "Ultimate Wine Dinner" prix fixe.

This was a wonderful Sauv Blanc! Refreshing and tasty. Nice balance, not all grapefruit like a New Zeland SB, and not all freshly mowed grass either. Good acidity and everything you are looking for in a Sauv Blanc.

Joel Gott Wine Dinner - NW Chicago Suburbs (Bistro Kirkou, Lake Zurich, IL): Great value Sauvignon Blanc. Light bodied style makes for perfect aperitif. Aromas of citrus fruit and herbal notes. Flavors of lime and gooseberry. Wine has nice acidity. Fruit source Monterey and Lake counties. Very food friendly.

Good value. Aromas/flavors of citrus, melon, and spice. Clean and crisp in the mouth with a similar finish. A bit past its prime.

3rd Annual Holiday Party (Casa GolferChris (NW Suburbs of Chicago)): This has quickly become one of our favorite CA Sauv Blancs. Well balanced, great food wine, that provides nice citrus fruits, a touch of minerals and plenty of acidity to deliver a very good value.

The Blind Drunks monthly tasting (Niche Restaurant, Geneva, Illinois): Tasted double blind. Pale color. Peach and tropical fruit notes, with a touch of citrus zest. Tangy acidity and nice fruit. Creamy mouthfeel. Guess: CA Sauv blanc.

July Wine Tasting at Cardinal Liquors (Cardinal Liquors, Crystal Lake, IL (NW Chicago Suburbs)): Better than last bottle. This is a very good value for Ca. Sauv. Blanc. Nicely balanced with good fruit, minerality, and acidity. Crisp and refreshing.
