  • As far as BC Meritage blends go this one is quite good. The fruit expression was stronger than other meritages I've had. It's been aged in oak barrels for some 15 months. Very big and very flavourful. It has a high Syrah content, that makes a noticable difference.

  • I have had a pretty varied opinion of this wine. Ive had some lovely impressive drops, but as many mediocre and some flops. This falls in the second category, but not bad. Maybe in a slightly better place than FLM had in ‘17, [i cant say it was repulsive, ;^) ]all that said i was attracted to the nose. There was some dark fruit but flattish. Ther tannins were very soft, with a medium finish. I have purchased Mission Hill wines for many years, but have had both ends of the spectrum from this vineyard. Resources that i will be spending elsewhere as there are so many others in bc.

  • Ouf, this was…bad…if I’m really nice, I’ll give it 82 pts. It’s almost as if the wine was past its prime. Tannins are super soft, very thin on the palate…and the nose was almost repulsive (my mother said garbage can!). It’s probably a bad bottle, but I’m just unable to identify the problem.

  • Another decent Mission Hill wine. Not really distinctive in any way, but it was a decent drink. If I am spending $50-60, I would definitely not spend it here though.
