Jackson clone, the lightest of all Pinot Noir clones. Planted as a test block by UC Davis in the 1890s, and then rediscovered in 1960s under blackberry bushes. People like it as a blender because of the joly rancher but darn, the nose! Totally explodes. That is just crazy good. Palate is super good too.

Delicate light ruby color. Lean, linear, medium to light body, ample acidity and tannins. Quite unique. Almost a rosé.
