  • My Private Wine Note: I can't believe the world isn't all over this scrumptuos, full bodied, rubey red work of art! It's awesome! I can't put it down. It's like the genie in Alladin ... Just coming to life after all these years in a bottle. Russian Hill make the best syrah of any I have had (in decades of tastings). Smooth, balanced, potent, with strong wild cherry currents, surrounded by oak, leather, licorice, wild blackberries... someday I hope to discover the recipe to this level of excellence. Keep up the great work!

  • According to Russian Hill: "Is drinking very well now and does not necessarily need more ageing. However, do not expect any drop off either over the next few years." mcnfarmer
