Wow, 16 year Meursault just popping. The color has darkened, or dulled, and there is a steely, flintiness that has been added since the last bottle a while ago. I am shocked at the crispness, acid, remaining in the glass. This was really a nice surprise.

Delicious wine that has well integrated smoky oak. Hazelnut, walnuts, peach and citrus notes - lemon and a touch of grapefruit. Crisp and refreshing with just enough malo to give some roundness and depth.

Deep color, with aromas of smoky apple, lanolin, and wood. Nice orchard fruit, citrus and stone qualities as it opens. Good weight across the palate, with flavors of apple, smoky wood, florals and mineral.

A nice crisp, lightly mineral driven chardonnay, perfect with and in my artichoke, Serrano ham, and pea stew. A middle weight wine with a medium length finish. Recommended.

Nose was tight, but flavors opened nicely during the evening--very focused intensity/verve. Will last many more years andprobably should be held or given some time to breath.
