Id say fully matured at this point, nice integration of oak and fruit, quite lovely to drink. Drink within the next 2-3 years to garner the best effect.

This bottle was in perfect condition right now. We opened this with a 1990 Château La Conseillante Bordeaux and it held up extremely well. In fact most at the table thought it was similar in profile as the Bordeaux with the Andrus being a bit fruitier with the Bordeaux being a bit earthier. This had a nice body with a nice amount of dark cherries and fig. Drink now to 2014

Dark red/purple. Toast, sweet dark cherry & black currant nose. Black cherry, black currant, leather and sage flavors. Mellow, rounded sweet tannins.A nice mature wine - time to drink this one.

Nose is full of fruit and mellow oak. Med. body. Fairly concentrated. Slight alcohol heat. Very little tannin but what remains contributes to full integrated mouth feel at the end. Smooth finish and very pleasant to drink, slight grip at the end. Not too complex but is well balanced and very clean.

Nice balanced bordeaux style blend. A little light on finish. Good raspberry fruit and soft tannins. Drinking well now and has lots of life left. I bought this at the vineyard upon release.

Expected more from 97. Started strong and need to drink soon after decanting.
