A touch fatter than the 2010 BBM side by side... and a touch less complete than the Batard 14 on the other side. Yet, still an immensely enjoyable chard that stand-alone would have been sensational.

Grand Cru White Burgundy Fest: Young and fresh. A bit light on the finish, but quite lovely. I think many 14s have been in a shut down phase lately, just not quite showing all their latent power.

Very pretty nose with good intensity, a bit of flint, lemon, and citrus notes. Nice acidity with bright fruit, anis, lemon, and rocks on the palate. Long finish. Excellent wine that feels a bit brighter but also more backwards compared to the Batard Montrachet next to it. Interesting to see how different the two vineyards show. I would drink the BM now and let this rest for a bit longer. 94++

Needs a lot of air but beautiful reduction closer in style to the more recent vintages. White fruit, sesame, mineral, striking cut, weight and concentration. 94-95

not blind I like the old school creamy style. They don't try to be reductive as other modern domaines. Vivid acidity. Saline, pink grapefruit and some roasted almonds. 97

Brought by JB for KM’s birthday dinner. No notes just a great experience all around.
Wine has a linear profile with a concentration of citrus, the lemon/grapefruit/lime oil component is outstanding and the mineral streak is what brings the wine home. Very fresh and energizing with the Leflaive beautiful structure. Doesn’t have the depth of the Batard or Montrachet

Had the second half of this 2 days later (filled a 375ml bottle, corked it and refrigerated)...it was much improved, thus worth noting here. Fruit remains nicely high toned, the structure and finish are much more harmonious, with length, great minerality, and a touch of saline. I suppose the takeaway is this needs a long decanting

Clean citrus and flinty aromatics with a similar flavor profile that has a mineral component too. Unfortunately there’s a grapefruit-like dissonance with the acidity, which simply isn’t in balance. Hopefully this gets resolved because the wine is otherwise very enjoyable

Wow - nå snakker vi! Lekker Leflaive parfyme, steinmineralitet, sexy sitron, og krydder med anis som det første jeg tenker på. Kraft og eleganse på ypperste nivå. Dette kan du sniffe på all day long. 95-96p

A perfect balance of the 2010 and 2011 that were served alongside. Very good.

I guessed younger and PC from Leflaive. In a good drinking window. Creamy but I missed a bit length and density. 94-95

aroma of pear. lighter body, reserved aroma, broad but not deep. Seems like lack of power to me. maybe need more time to age?

Combines depth with precision. Fantastic. All the 2014 BBM’s seem to have an extra gear and this was no exception.

Most Excellent Friday Cellar Visits in Burgundy - Domaine Leflaive and Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé (Cote d'Or): Tasting at the domaine. Also bottled approx one month ago. Starts with tropical aromas. Ripe apple, lemon peel and some trace tropical flavors. Long and nicely textured, while still clearly rich. 92-94 point potential.
