Hubert Lamy Saint Aubin La Princee 2014. Fortsatt fersk som bare det. Må luftes skikkelig for å komme i modus. På grensen til ubalansert syre. Etter en halvtime i glasset fyller den seg flott ut. Utrolig bra nese. Malte Lamy med litt breiere pensel før. Dette er digg, en super Village. 91p

pop and pour, then decanted and drunk over two nights.
A little reductive matchstick that blows off leaving a lovely chalky nose with lemon curd, jasmine, and asian pear. Midweighted with excellent dry extract and depth for its pedigree. It's detailed, beautifully balanced and harmonious with a terrific balance of soil, fruit, acid, and florals. Day two it has a little more clarity without losing any freshness. Drinking at peak now with time in hand.

Pop and pouted. drunk over three hours. One glass saved for the next day, just recorked in the cellar.
Light golden in color. A little reductive to stat. Matchstick, citrus pith, chalk, and subtle florals on the nose. Mid weighted, light on its feet. Really well balanced, but a little less broad than previous bottles losing some of its baby fat. It's lifted and and a little more about soil and acid than fruit. Well done if lacking a little depth. Chalky and citrus driven on the palate. Drinking very well on the first night, but maybe a bit better on day two, having gained some richness and depth without losing any focus. Yum.

Pretty much cut and paste form my last bottle a couple months ago.
A fresh, bright nose with matchstick, chalk, lemon curd, citrus and orchard fruits. Clean and deep, with great extract for a village wine with a chalky mineral almost toothsome density. Detailed and deep with outstanding dry extract for its level. This is a harmonious, delicious wine that punches well above its weight. This has a pretty seamless mix of soil, acid and fruit with all its components adding to a greater whole. Drinking at early peak, and I doubt I will be able to keep my hands off the remaining bottles. Delicious.

A fresh nose with some matchstick, citrus, orchard fruit, chalk, lemon curd, and marzipan. It has good depth, and textural richness coupled with lively acidity and soil driven limestone notes. It's chalky and almost toothsome, but dialed down in intensity and depth compared to his 2014 1er cru bottlings. Fresh and lively on the palate with excellent lift. Drinking at early peak now. I really love '14 white burgundy.
Nose of gunflint. Juicy, lemony, zingy tart, bit of coconut. Very nice. Would go well with a nice roast chicken or even, dare I say it, lobster or scallops.

Pale, light on its' feet (and my palate), citrusy-tartish light-lemon, quenching, very nice. Bit of that gunflint/matchstick thing going on. Like. A great food wine choice.

Highly reductive, but very compelling. Ripe apple tones throughout. Good salinity, acidity, balanced texture. Really great wine. If you an find at a decent price this is a stellar bottle of wine.

Very good, it certainly is in a very good place at the minute. Lost its roughness, and is citrus, medium body and lingering finish with a roundness that perfectly suits the wine. Delicious. 90 points

Lovely confit lemon and peach flavours. Stone minerality balances out richness. Good acidity. But can’t say I rejoice in the the extremely reductive wine making; to me it detracts, more and more, from the enjoyment.

Lovely wine. Reductive, wet stone, nose initially. Longer and more complex than I was expecting. Bright, Lemony flavours and stone fruit all make for a fine St Aubin.

Opened and followed over 3 hours or so. A slight bit of reduction, with medium body. Balanced and polished. Doesn't have quite the depth of the 2014 En Remilly I had a few weeks back, but this is solid and a nice wine/QPR in its own right.

Lekker fatbruk, Chassagne-krydder, sitron, epler, røyk. Tight, hvit frukt i munnen, steinete, litt te a la Darjelling FF Monteviot, floral. Sitter lenge. Sinnsyk QpR; setter mange 700-kroners Chassagne i skammekroken

Fabelaktig produsent!
