  • I love the nose but this was quite steely on the palate with a swathe of minerality. This rounded a little with more air but I still rather the moucheres which are a lot more balanced.

  • Smashing good wine lunch at San Shu Gong. Drank in Gabriel Standart.
Appearance is clear, pale intnesity, elmon colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium intensity, with aromas of stony minerality, white chalk, limestone, citrus lemon + lime. Developing.
On the palate, dry, lovely high acidity, medium alcohol (13.5%), medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of integrating oak toast with a tuch of cream, wet stony inerality, white chalk, limesotne, concentrated citrus lemon, sweet limes. Long finish.
Very good quality. Feels young and will need more age to flesh out more. Tension and nervosity and acidic cut lifts this above the integrating oak toast.
