International Grenache Day. Medium deep straw and just starting to brown. Toast and honey on the nose. We’ll and truly moving into a developed profile. Palate has some richness and freshness. More toastiness on the palate. A real bummer. I missed this wine by at least a year or two.

Tasted blind. Limestone, minerals, ocean spray aromas. Plush. Balanced and elegant. The texture is like a blanket on an overcast day at the beach. I was pretty sure this was a Chablis, which is why tasting blind makes things interesting.
