Guilty pleasures :) Quite intensive nose with hints of porto, mulled wine and spirit. Full-bodied, with jams rather than with fruits, sweetnes is balanced with acidity. Better to have it chilled around 17-19°C

Very sweet and fruity. First sip gives you a sense of gobbling down a bowl of cherries. Not particularly deep. I remember this being much more depth of flavor and finish. Frankly, a little disappointed at how fruity it was.

Once again (I repeat) a really big wine. More "Port like" than "Wine like". Grainy mouthfeel with cooked raspberry & blackberry jam. Overall thick after dinner like wine with a medium to large finish.

Once again a really big wine. Predominant flavors of black-cherries, cooked raspberry, mocha and vanilla. This is my 2nd tasting of this wine and the tannin seems to support that this wine is too young too drink today. A rather grainy mouthfeel and dry lingering finish of cherry flavors. Overall this is a rich and lingering wine with a medium to large finish.

Had this at the wine tasting hosted by The Janazzo's on March 20. This was the 2nd to the WON ( Tili Assisi Rosso reserva 2004 was 1st ) and against several other wines including Arnaldo Caprai Sagrantino di Montefalco 2011, Cantina Pepucci Rosso is 2008, Tili Pinot Nero 2014, and Poderi Morini Nadel Rosso 2011. Basically it was a Propperzio Group wine tasting at their house. This one had flavors of cherries, cooked raspberry and mocha. vanilla, Thesye all combine and form a decent core wine which is rich and lingering with a length which is at best a medium finish.

Lots of raisin, somewhat like port wine. Young but not too closed. Pleasantly surprised.

91/100
Very ripe and jammy wine, with tons of sweet blackberries, cassis, and black currant.
Heavy-lifter, yet elegant, somewhat reminiscent of a good Recioto style. A bit excessive alcohol at the back of the throat.
