Really really good. Need to be enjoyed after a good aeration (in bottle), and at right temperature. Once opened, its a bomb, intense, some serious savoury bitterness, and very long. A bit rough on the edges to prevent it to be Grand.

91 for now but 1-2 pts upside with some age... this has good red fruit and loads of acidity for lift (maybe a little more than optimal at this point)... pretty primary now, but should evolve

Very floral coupled with tart cherry and plum fruits. It has good volume and plenty of spice. The feel is liquid velvet and there is minerally crunch to the finish. Delicious wine with plenty in reserve.

During a Domaine tasting, only brief impressions. Wonderful nose of minerality, smoke, red currant. elegant palate. Very good and really not far off to the 2015. Haut Doix and Sentiers showed in Grand Cru quality at this consistent and excellent Groffer tasting.

2014 Groffier Chambolle Musigny Flight (Dig Wines, San Francisco): Same color as the Sentiers. Intriguing smoky note atop more cherry-like fruit, and less floral than either that wine or the Amoureuses. Again, lively acidity and red fruit, lovely lithe weight, significant earth and some tannins on the finish. Very Chambolle but a tad behind the Sentiers for me.

Nice concentrated tart cherry, long with a ton of minerality.
