Deep straw shade, nutty flavours dominate on entry, but with time shows plenty of structure. Lots of guts and length, almond flavours persist to a fine finish. Great with grilled garlic shrimp.

Fragrant aromas of almond, asian pear, and stone fruit. Rich and highly textured mouth feel though not oily at all. Floral flavors mix with almond, honeysuckle, and just a bit of naval orange and spice. Rich and generous, hitting on all notes.

really loving this. Great flavor and astringency. Sort of like Ochipinti's SP68 blanco in that it's stern and difficult on opening (only this is even more so, I think), but with a little air, is really delicious (I actually prefer the Montenidoli). Don't be put off by the work required to get a "simple" Italian white table wine drinkable. Just swirl and wait, and whatever's in the fridge will be great the next day. This wine has legs for cellaring at least 3 years. I'm also a huge fan of the rose.

Full bodied waxy white. Lots of tropical fruit and juicy pear. Ideal start to a Tuscan stag weekend!

definitely needs a solid 1/2 hr before it shows it stuff. then becomes a nicely complex wine that continues to evolve.
