Maraschino cherry and cough sweets. Has lost its youthful energy and not developed too much so maybe in an awkward in between phase. It’s was good but finished a little short. 3.5

Enchanting nose. Cherry jolly rancher on the palate, which is still a little tight. Needs more time in the cellar. Looking forward to seeing where this goes after another two years. Incredible producer who urges patience.

Red fruit, strawberry and cherry, moving smoothly into a piney, earthy core and finishing with good lift on nice acidity and smooth texture on well integrated tannin... this is in a beautiful place right now, YUM.

Wonderful mushroomy earthy nose, with strawberry and raspberry very evident. Palate is lots of fruit: cherry, raspberry, pomegranate, cranberry. Very bright acidity to point a little unbalanced with the tannins. Overall a wonderful wine, especially if you like that OR earthiness.

Much better on day 2 just like the 2012 St Innocent Temperance Hill. I think many of these Oregon Pinots will age 10-15+ years no problem. I was at a tasting last September and had some 20 year old Oregon Pinots that were still going strong.
Very plush and full bodied on the palate. Red cherry fruit explodes on the palate. Just enough acid to provide grip. Very long finish.

A bit more reserved than last time. Nice red berry fruits with some wood and tannins in the background. Long finish. I think this wine needs some time but 2055???? Not sure I'll be around to see how this wine drinks in 2055.

This time, a bottle and with time to open up... red fruit (cherry) and pine in front of an earthy, brambly middle and a long, complex finish with notes ranging from baking spices to mineral and dirt... yum!

Here I found rich cherry fruit with sweet florals, spice and wet stone. On the palate, I found lifted textures with herb-tinged strawberry fruits and savory herbs. The finish was long with saturating strawberry fruits, inner floral tones and a hint of bitter herbs.

Red and black fruit in front of a good deal of earth, bramble and mint before finishing with a good long chew. First year they're throwing in the estate and it shows... fun. Looking forward to seeing where this goes in a few years

As before, this is just red and ripping... depth of flavor and integration of tannin while retaining good acidity... YUM.

As before: Red fruit up front, this great piney woodsy core, brightness and chew on the backend. Six years in and this is in a great spot, Yum.

Relatively dark color. Earthy, subdued nose. Round mouth feel (clay?). Spicy, rich, heavy. Complex profile of stewed fruit, tea, acidity, mineral, Obviously warmer year. Very interesting. Nice wine.

Bambly raspberry, plush round mouthfeel with linear streak of acid on the long cedar tinged finish. 1400 cases produced.

Red fruit in front of a bulky, cedar / pine filled middle and both good brightness and good chew on the back. Yum.

I like the sweet and savory notes in this wine. Cherry, spice, and pine. Not flashy, but good with a meal.

A&B Oregon tasting (Coopers' Hall, Devonshire Square): Tasting sample. Again, quite rich. Nicely balanced though. Some spice but a little fresher than the Dolores — I prefer this. 4

In balance, unlike a lot of 14s, with soft shoulders and smooth edges and a good earth core on the other side of a red fruit (raspberries) start.
