Had this at the restaurant “en marge” close to Toulouse. We saw cork crumbling when the sommelier tried to open it. We were not offered to try this before the main course, which was too late when it arrived. It actually was a car crash, still alive, yes, but oxidized, tertiary notes only, way past its best. Maybe it was the cork. But as food arrived and we were not keen on spoiling the dinner, we gave in on a very mediocre wine.

Wine10 monthly meeting (Quattro restaurant): clear, deep purple-black clean, intense dark prunes aromas with earthy-spicy notes dry, medium tannins, medium acidity, heavy full body, rich dark roasted prunes flavours, good balance & harmony, solid structure, medium complexity, rustic, heavy finish

South-East France with Munskänkarna (Uppsala): Dense red brown color. Apparent oak, leather, cassis and cedar. Reminds of a cabernet. Rough with strong tannins, some oak and weak fruit. Short finish. Rather OK but a little too rough for my liking

A deep, tannic wine that is rather one dimensional.
