Kerosene. Grapefruit. Roofing tar. Dare I say cat pee?
5th of 6 bottles purchased, and they've all been the same. Have resorted to sangria, cooking with it, or taking it to parties just to try and get rid of it (and it's tainted the food and still doesn't get drunk at parties). I'm starting to think I just don't like Sauv Blanc, but this one is unpalatable.

By the glass at the BA lounge, LHR. Not sure when this was opened. Difficult to place both as region and frankly also grape variety. Firm, clean, cool climate feel but also lacked charm and elegance. 87

A lot of dry extract and possibly some RS. Definitely has texture. Really wanted to love it, but just found it nice and pleasant. Was fine while sitting on the beach, so no complaints at $9 from Garagiste.

Lemongrass and lime, not as mineral as NZ Wines. There is a little bit of grapefruit rind. Has a slightly buttery mouth feel - unusual for sauv but good.

Just can't say I agree with the reviews from Suckling, Wine Advocate, and Galloni. Maybe this one just isn't my style.
Right away, the aromas give away the partial oak treatment of this wine. Waxy and buttery scents with only the slightest hints of tropical fruits poking through. The palate follows, but with a little more intrigue. The use of oak provides roundness and some spiciness on the finish, but it doesn't overpower the flavors of sweet citrus, ripe pear, and honeydew melon. Good acidity.
I'm sure I am just not the biggest fan of the oak influences in this wine, as I prefer my sauvignon blancs on the fresher and zestier side. With that being said, I can still appreciate the complexity here. Certainly a bargain at $10 USD through Last Bottle.

Good value at $11 paid and glad I went for a case, as this is a handy thing to have around for seafood and lighter fare, and it doesn't hurt the wallet too bad to cook with either.
Very light straw yellow color. Aromas of lime, grapefruit, honeysuckle, and wet slate. Medium(+) body and acidity, medium finish, and flavors of lime, pear, green apple, kiwi, and grapefruit. Tart and bright with a light bitterness on the back end. Would've been a good warm weather quaffer as well, but probably missed the boat on that for this year and will likely rip through these before next.

For a cheap Sauvignon Blanc, this was surprising really good. Not a high end but excellent for everyday white to drink/taste and/or cook with.

Enjoyable chilean sauvignon blanc. Would easily pass for a well produced Marlborough Sauv Blanc. Lemon lime peach, bright acidity with hints of grass.

Lovely. There’s a little oak here that adds roundness but doesn’t dull the vibrancy. Really nice for $11 (Last Bottld).

PnP at Nolita. Crisp, medium bodied with typical SB flavors. 14%
