  • Rich, ripe fruits mixed with sweet spice and ginger - a wonderfully tasty combination! The nose did start off a bit tight, presenting more citrus, spice, and mineral elements. The palate, however, was a different story; ripe fruit exploded onto the scene by way of pineapple, apricot, mango, lychee, and kiwi. Next up, vanilla and ginger with a touch of honey. On top of all that, there was a fairly intense floral component, though I couldn't quite narrow it down beyond that (honeysuckle?). The balance was excellent, though I could have used more acidity to counter the richness of the flavours and the relative weight of the body - really the only reason the rating wasn't higher. Still, it was hard not to thoroughly enjoy every sip of this wine!
