Garnet to dark garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Hot nose of black pepper, currants, plums and black cherries.. Flavors of plums, currants and black cherries. Medium acidity, medium to firm tannin, full bodied. Drink now.
My guess was a 2017 California Syrah. Lillian perhaps. Man, never in a million years would I have pegged this as a Pinot Noir.

I don’t drink a lot of Pinot, but this is excellent. Definitely benefitted from an hour of air and really opened up. Was a little hot but seemed to integrate with air. Very complex on the nose and aromatic. A mix of concentrated dark fruit, and bright red fruit. Black cherry, raspberry, spice on the nose, very fruit forward on the nose and palate. Love the structure, great balance and long finish. Very happy with this

This is an exceptional Oregon Pinot. Wood (oak) on the nose (not vanilla). Remarkable balance in the mouth, soft... Red fruit, cherry, plum, and cherry (not a duplicate mistake... lingers after taste). Long finish... exceptional wine.

A little too new world at this point. I want to see where it goes with a little more age.

Duck for Days Pinot Noir WX+ Meetup (Sun Wah Chinese BBQ): Very fruit forward for this producer I felt. Ripe and big with lots of robust elements and darker fruit tones. Black cherries, some mineral. Really nice.
