Pop n poured. Had with salmon good match. Nicely balanced with moderate acidity. Reasonable fruit. As other reviewers note not much complexity. Hard to tell if further time will change it much but no rush to drink

Fruit driven, rather straight forward wine with a pleasing personality, but little complexity or structure. The finish is short and watery. I don't foresee any further improvement. Drink up!

This wine is exactly why I don't like to spend money on Red Burgundy. $90 wine and I think it is a 90 point effort. Floral, subtle oak, spice and red currants. Short to medium finish. Lacks concentration and personality. Would I drink a glass if someone was buying yes but would I buy this wine no!

Pousse d'Or 2015 Lineup (Knightsbridge - Northbrook IL): Tasting, brief note. My favorite of the Volnays, both for near-term enjoyment and cellarworthiness. Mostly red cherry and berry throughout with good spice. Rich, ripe and powerful, but also persistent and long.

This is a very well produced wine with great balance and nice depth, but unfortunately it lacks some personality. Very approachable today and I would not keep it forever. Smooth texture, nice and precise acidity and fresh berry fruit. The oak is rather presenta and it adds some sweetness to the wine.

Pinote amplement, beaucoup d’extrait sec, avec une certaine amertume. Belle densité pour un PN bourguignon. Long en bouche, excellent.

Tuesday Cellar Visits in Burgundy - Remoissenet, Bernard Moreau, Pousse d'Or, Comte Liger-Belair (Cote d'Or): Barrel tasting at the domaine. 1 yo barrel. Juicier fruit with more power vs Bousse d'Or. Slightly less spice and nuanced textures Also VG+ potential for its level.
