It is still a very young kinda austere wine. Initially fully closed it slowly gives way a spiced red fruity scent with some alchool invading the nose. Medium light bodied with typicall pinot fruit, very spicy and with tannins coming out. Good acidity and suprising long finale. The tannins are saying hold and maybe it will become a very pleasant drink. Needs at least 4 years in the dark.

Always a pleasure to taste a wine that smells and tastes as it should. This true Pommard is such an example. Well structured and balanced, and offering a classy finish. 90-91.

All grip/tannins, not enough balance & fruit for me

Ready to go with 15 min air in the glass. Light red fruit. Not as crunch as I expected for a 2014/Pommard, was a pleasant surprise.

Binny's Tasting with Domaine Louis Jadot's Frédéric Barnier (Binny's Lincoln Park): Binny's tasting with winemaker Frederic Barnier. Red fruits (pomegranate) with a hint of spice, this was similar in overall character to the Savigny immediately before. Good acidity but lacking depth. Not likely to improve.
