Clear light gold. Soft sweet rounded nose, light apple and pear fruit, some mineral and tinge of coconut. Rounded and delicious with soft apple fruit with some lemon on the finish with some mineral notes. Very nice.

Medium golden yellow. Well rounded nose with some apples, lemon curd, straw and a little minerality. Medium acidity (5/10) with a medium to medium plus body. A bit of candied tropical notes on the palate with wet gravel and apples. Medium plus finish. Drink till 2024.

Opened and drank with leftover chicken and fixings. Pale straw color with a golden hue. Apricots, honey, lemon pie, and saline on the nose. The palate is medium, round, sweet, and tangy, bringing tropical fruit basket, lemon curd, limes, nectarines, tangerines, and soda water. The finish is smooth and quenching. Good body and weight on the mid-palate with a dry, mineral finish. Similar in style to a CA Smith-Madrone Chard with lingering lemon drops on the finish. Drink 2019-2024. Technical score: 90. Enjoyment score: 92.

A bit sweet and round but none the less delicious on a hot summer day. More lemon and minerals than anything California brings to the table at this price point.

Very light gold color, clear and sound. More mineral and acid-driven than I was expecting but elegant and interesting nonetheless. I keep thinking this would make a nice sparkler. No hurry, and probable upside with another year or so of sleep. 4+10+17+8= 89

Its hard not to give this a 90 since it tastes just so darn delicious! It strikes a great balance between a ripe and tropical California Chardonnay, dripping of pineapple and oak and a much tighter French Saint-Veran with verve and minerality. Generous without giving it all away. Revealing without a scandal about to unfold. Lip smacking, minerals, apples, with a very nice long finish. For the $, OUTSTANDING. Why so tight with the score? BECAUSE in another year or so this wine will be amazing.
And who the heck is paying $30? I got it for not quite half of that!

A decent wine but not a decent deal at 30$. I can find lots of Chablis and Viré-Clessé that I like better at a better price. There is some mineral extraction that adds interest in the aftertaste and ok acidity. The problem I have with the wine is the lemony flavors are more lemon candy than clean citrusy flavors. No matter how small, I don't like detectable wood in white wine.

Far from an expert on Saint Veran, as I find no note over 2500 notes I have written on any other....But, good stuff. After the Aeris, initially the oak seemed quite prominent, but by the third sip I was used to it and felt it fit quite well with the rest of the wine's profile. As a gobbled down about four tons of buttered popcorn, the wine became fantastic. Nice mid weight body. At $30, a steal.

A lot of interest to be found here and structured very well. Surprised to find some overbearing oxidative notes.
