This is, I think, overrated by the community. It has a delightful floral perfume, but it's missing some things....bass notes, complexity, and structure. However, it's certainly a serviceable Pinot at $12 from Costco.
It doesn't have the structure to age, so drink now if you have it.

Deep ruby red color. Black cherry and raspberry flavors with substantial acidity. Pleasant balanced Pinot Noir that is an exceptional QPR at under $15. I highly recommend this wine and will buy more as soon as possible.

Pinot noir, California. Bright ruby with a garnet tint and a narrow vague rim. vinous, pronounced red sour cherry, roasted chestnut, caramel, bay leaves. Developing. Dry, Medium+ acidity, Medium+ body, medium+ firm ripe tannin, high alcohol(14+). Medium+ sour cherry with lesser bayleaves and a hint of dark leaves and chocolate. Heat, chocolate and a hint of wood in the medium finish. Good balance, okay but woody length, good intensity, okay complexity. A good wine. Drink now, not suitable for aging or further aging.

Aromas of mushroom, sassafras, cola and cherry. Flavors of cherry, raspberry, mushroom and touch of plum. Ends with a nice cherry infused 20 second finish.

A fine mouth feel, which is long lasting. Long legs,... and raspberries and plums on the nose. All in all a fine Pinot Noir, which I believe was the first wine I had ever tasted as a U.S. sailor back in the 50's. Ah yes, France!!

I don't know what LM_NC was smokin' when he/she tasted this wine ... 50pts ... really? No really?! Yes this is a CA pinot, not a french, but for the price, this is one of the best QPR of any pinot we've tasted and believe me, sir/madam, we've 'been around' many areas tasting pinot and for the price, this is in my top 5. If the NC stands for North Carolina ... well, with the 'bathroom issues', that would explain a lot. I'm not a fan of KJ wines, but they have a definite winner from this vintage.
Seems to me there should be a unique Pinot Noir rating for non-France producers. I would support a 90s California Pinot rating for this wine. It doesn't begin to compare to 90s-rated French pinots.

I love this stuff. This is the third time I've had it since my first note. Each has been consistent. I've gotten it from $14-17, so the QPR is phenomenal for a Pinot.

Medium ruby in color. The nose is clean with floral notes. It's a fruit forward style with plenty of spice and heat, but not over powering and well balanced. Good complexity for the price. Great QPR - I recommend. 90-91.

Seymour Wine Club Meeting 2/25/17 (Home of Lew Stanio): Tasted blind. Aromas of plum, cherry and earth on the nose. Flavors of cherry, earth and raspberry. Fruit really shines through on this and nicely balanced. Finish went on for 25 seconds. I had actually tried this earlier in the day and recognized it as the Kendall Jackson. Excellent for the money. This was the #3 wine on the night.

Black fruit, cherry, raspberry. Good spice, acids, and tannins. Well balanced medium weight with depth. Needs a little air. Great QPR at under $20. WS & WE gave it a 91 & 92 respectively.

It smells like cranberry, cherry and toast. The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle.

Not bad, but pretty light in the loafers. Didn't have much to this one and it didn't really seem like it would improve with age.
