I have had 4 of these now (1 flawed and 3 proper). Not a big fan personally. Had a thin flavor profile, perhaps the acidic side is too powerful. Fruit is sparse and even oak seems too light. Couldn’t find any aspect I was interested in, my last bottle will be used for cooking I suspect.

Something not right on this bottle. Had a diesel undertone, but more powerful than some rieslings. Odd, and not similar to other bottles of the same wine.

This bottle was randomly purchased at Costco based on what I remember as a Suckling review. When I got home I read the CT reviews and groaned. I thought it was better than the reviews but that was after a double aeration. It was also better on night two. I am thinking it will improve with a few more years in the cellar.

Medium plus nose shows mocha, espresso, violets, pencil lead, blackberry. Palate matches with big structure, tannins a little aggressive like last taste, I would give this some time.

with 5% Merlot. Medium nose is dark fruit, a little general, black plum, black pepper, anise. Palate is big structure, up front medium plus tannins, black fruit, blackberry, nice spice notes. Drinks young though, I would give this time (it popped and poured for me).

Deep ruby color. Medium plus intensity nose of oak (slight cedar/baking spices), slight ripe bell pepper, and slight indistinct black fruits (blackberries, maybe blackcurrant)
Dry, full-bodied, high alcohol (14%), medium plus acid, high tannins (chewy and grippy).
30% new French oak.
It's a New-World Cabernet with modest oak treatment. Lacks the intensity of fruit and oak for Napa. Lacks the Pyrazinic nature of Chile and Coonawarra.

Geranium leaf and dry-erase marker ink nose. Oddly green and stemmy but not in an attractive, herbaceous way. Dark and solid palate, but with unfortunate rubber and ink flavours that linger.
I have noticed this trait in the Crios line before but I have always praised the Signature wines in the past; I hope this characteristic doesn't propagate any further as I also found the Luigi Bosca Cabernet to present with similar characteristics. 1/5

Weak, with vague flavors of dilute red fruit. Watery texture. Drinkable, but that’s about all.
