Some unpleasant nose and palate elements when first opened , but fortunately these dissipated or improved after half an hour or so. Was pleasant enough with chorizo and olive dish, but nothing noteworthy I will drink the other bottle soon

Not the greatest QPR, but a consistently solid wine year after year. Muted red and black berry fruit with mushroom and a touch of earth. Worked well with mixed paella.

D+0h: quite some deposit in the filter and the bottle, smells of blackberry and violets D+4h: purple red, on the rim slightly cherry red, smells of blackberry and smoke, medium body, in the mouth blackberry and smoke, dry, but not in a tart way, in the aftertaste blackberry, smoke and acidity, good length (30 sec), nice, but nothing spectacular.

A wine in which my wife and I have drunk and followed for the past 15 years. Ripe beeries ...notes of currants......raisins. Med body. With balance acidity and tannins. Serve at 15C ...drank with beef Tacos..also good with pizza👍🍷😊

Medium body, deep ruby red color. Intense ripe fruits, cedar wood and spicy aroma. Very enjoyable cherry and plum palate with earthy finish. Starts very refreshing and silky but oxidized for three hours. Complex and well balanced, nice acidity and ripe tannins. Food friendly, best match is stewed poultry. Open about half hour ahead. Serve 17º - 20º. Drink up.

Deep, almost opaque, inky garnet red with purple on the rim. Medium intensity on the nose with black fruit, plumb, a tad pruny, some tea leaf, licorice, some mushroom notes and a hint of leather. Good acidity with medium + tannins that are a bit woody. Flavours of black cherry, tea leaf and currant - a bit tart. Some black pepper and mushroom notes but coming across a bit clunky and not well integrated. This is not a bad wine, but the palate falls short of the nose. It's very fruit forward but a bit tart and curt on the finish. Overall the fruit is not well balanced with the tannin and I'm not sure time in the cellar will resolve this.

Similar impression to S_KAARIA: Ruby color - legs; nose with hints of fruit and a little sandalwood - flavor after opening unbalanced and with rough tanins - waited for 1 hour: more balanced with now integrated tanins, cherries and licorice - increasing after 2 hrs - now with good finish - Rating starts with 82 and ends with 87

At the beginning quite harsh and unbalanced. After 30min starts to develop ripe dark red fruit. At its best after approximately 2h decanting. At this time shows developed ripe fresh fruits, some raisin and nice soft tannins. Most of the oak also stays at the background nicely. Overall great value that lasts long after opening.

- Brick color and aromas of blackberry, black pepper and dusty. It's balanced and has flavours of blackberry with a medium/full body. Round texture with a medium finish.
