Classic. Dark and red fruit balanced with Fall leafy forest with hints of leather and tobacco . High alcohol hidden under smooth and powerful drive of Syrah. Enjoy now and for next 7-10 years.

Very well balanced between fruit and savory flavors. Smooth and precise . Wine is still evolving in the bottle (got better in the glass after some time). Beautifully build Syrah from amazing Paderewski vineyard.

Really delicious. Of all the Syrahs I've had from the Paso Robles region, Block B and Alban's Lorraine might be the best. This bottle was beautifully bright and balanced. There's not much more I can add. Drink up!

This score will likely rise over the next few years. Right now, this is young and burly. While we enjoyed it after a few hours of air, there will be more to it when it calms down some.

A massive Syrah. Loads of blackberry, blueberry, dark chocolate. Medium+ tannin. A beautiful wine that will age for several more years, but is great right now if you like those fresher fruit flavors now. Wish I had more.

Bright clean fruit which presents fully in the mouth. No off flavors. Pure Syrah with characteristic flavors. This one needs a lot more time, but a couple hours in the decanter did wonders.

Another huge wine here. Dark and inky effort with black cherry and blackberry fruit. Well balanced wine with notes of dark chocolate, black licorice, and bacon fat. Full bodied, incredibly structured, firm tannins, long finish, not for the faint of heart.

Even though young, drinking quite well. Another 18-24 months I'm sure I will be giving it another couple of points. Ate with pheasant and the host stated if he could drink a wine like this every time he would convert to wine.

Stunningly delicious. Agree with previous reviewers, this syrah and John Alban's are the absolute best from Paso.

Wow. Dark, juicy... really smoothed out over 3+ hours in the bottle. Have 2 left -- will wait at least 1 year each to see what happens.

PNP, singing from the start. Paired with grilled steaks, which worked well. Plenty of fruit flavor, but well balanced. Really, really nice.

Monster of a wine. Inky jet black. Could use another couple years in bottle. But fun if you want to blow your guests' hair back. Enjoy.
