After about an hour and a half in the decanter, I have to agree with other reviews. This is a serviceable weekday Bordeaux, but I can't get too excited about it. Tastes like considerable CF is this blend, but I don't know what the actual contribution is. Muddy, vegetal notes on the nose, with lots of red fruits on the palate. Good acidity and well-mannered tannins. Surprisingly long finish. Definitely a good food wine.
The more that I taste this wine and describe my impressions, the more things I find that I like about it. Originally, I was thinking 86-87, but now I'm leaning toward a solid 89. At $19, this is not a strong QPR, but not a disappointment either.

Deep garnet red. Nose is a bit tight with dusty cherries, earthy notes, a touch dirty and savory. Medium tannins (6/10) and light bodied. Strong, yet balanced acidity. Interesting palate with sour cherries, woody characteristics, and a touch savory. Dry medium finish. Drink till 2020.

Balanced modern style with nice minerality. Evolved over 24 hrs. Vintage 2007 has plenty of life left. Good every day drinker. médaille d'or concours de bordeaux 2010 winner

Much to my surprise, it was drinking very well. I really enjoyed it with a burger.

Good QPR, given the sub-$20 price. Low alcohol.

Very pleasant, red fruited, good fresh acidity with medium body and no detectable wood.

Smooth easy drinker but really nothing special. I agree with other reviewers that while it’s a pleasant enough wine, the QPR here isn’t great.
