A really tasty Tempranillo. Dark rich mouth feel with really nice tannins, dark plum fruit, lots of spice and a good sprinkling of earth. Medium to long finish. Second glass is holding up just as flavorful as the first glass, the acid in the wine balanced really well against a spicy chicken dish.

I kept waiting for this wine to open up. I decanted and kept tasty over a couple of hours, but in the end it’s an austere wine. Plenty of acidity and tannins but very lacking elsewhere.
