Found a couple in my cellar. Still drinking very well as compared to a couple years ago. Nose has softened but still get cherry and coffee. Soft tannins, medium finish. Tastes like a much more expensive wine. One of the best "stock up" wine values from CH.

This wine impresses everyone I have shared it with. Still a profound nose of cassis, black raspberry and eucalyptus. Fruits and tannins are softening now, but still nice and a nice match with steak kabobs. Drink now. One of my better stock ups from Cameron Hughes.

Semi-dark crimson. Earth, bramble, and blackberry nose. Medium bodied, plums, blueberries, dry tannins, tobacco, black cherries, and a short to medium finish. I think this needs more time.

I didn't have time to decant. Poured through the vinturi and sat down with a glass to have a quick spaghetti dinner. Whoa! I definitely will remember next time to slow down and let this wine have some air before drinking. After about 30 minutes the harshness and edge smoothed out. Great everyday drinker.

A nose of dark fruit and some spice, dark garnet in color. A medium to full bodied red blend, with blueberry, blackberry, tea and spice on finish, an easy drinker. www.winelx.com

Make sure you decant this wine for at least an hour. It totally changes character from a harsh, tannic wine to a very good, earthy Washington wine worth 3x the cost.

Nose if dark berries, cedar and flowers. On the palate purple berries, chocolate, cassis, and slight green notes framed by oak. Medium weight, the tannins are fairly well integrated already. Very good QPR; should age/improve gracefully through 2020 and plateau for several years thereafter.

Rated higher for the price. We had this without food and this is definitely a food wine. Dark fruit on the nose and palate with a little a little vanilla and cedar added. Not quite in balance ... maybe aging it awhile would help ... it's big enough for it.

PnP, mid-weight translucent ruby color, inviting nose, light/fruity mouthfeel, medium length finish, non-existent tannins but some late oak/heat/tartness, simple quaffer, priced right at $12 sale price.

Chocolate, cherry and plum, and gravel nose. Dark rich color. Taste is of chocolate, cherry, and very slight but nice oak. Very, very smooth tasting without much tannins-not very dry. Very juicy. Somewhat light but an excellent pairing for everything
Purchased one more bottle later and the second bottle was a bit bitter ,not smooth, and the tannins stayed on the palate too long-a bit perplexed don't understand as I liked it so much the first time. Definitely different???? Third bottle purchased separately was like the first.

Great everyday drinker or party wine at $10.50 a bottle. Not complex, but what do you expect at this price point.
