Enjoyed this feel like it will show better in 10 years or so though, some game and roasted dark red fruit, dried herbs on the nose, fine somewhat elegant mouthfeel, medium acidity, fine grainy integrated tannins and a medium finish

Domaine La Millière's 2015 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Vieilles Vignes is a deep garnet blend of 60% Grenache, 10% Syrah, 10% Mourvèdre, 10% Counoise and 10% Cinsault. From a well-cellared bottle that was decanted off of its sediment and Vinturi-decanted (in sequence), it opens after the first 90 minutes to reveal an attractive package of dark bramble fruits, black olive tapenade, Provençal herbs, grilled meat and cinnamon. Medium-to-full-bodied, fresh, softly oaked and with well-integrated alcohol (listed as 14.5%), it stays dense on the mid-palate. At this point the tannins are very supple, which accounts for the silky texture on the lengthy back end. This six-year "snapshot" suggests that the wine is evolving gracefully. Drink now-2025.

I've a had few bottles of this. I've even stood up bottles for 2 weeks and decanted to get rid of the insane amount is sediment that this has. Regardless of what I've done to try to make this wine enjoyable....I just can't. Piss poor attempt at Chateauneuf and terrible QPR.

Earthy, meaty and packed with green olives, herbs, garrigue and rustic, peppery, wild cherries, you can quite easily drink this now and over the next decade.

Drinking a 2015 in 2018 its came out of the bottle with a punch. It started out very strong and spicy and actually tart. It overwhelmed the Vietnamese Meatballs I had made for dinner. So I set it aside...after dinner and an hour to breathe it was much more mellow and very dry and I definitely caught the leather and minerals with just a bit of wood. The tannins were more noticeable an hour later and I liked what they did. I bought six bottles...I think I will definitely let them age another 5 years...

Weirdly effervescent. Some fruit more dirty olive/earth focus. Musty. Dry. Went far downhill from the bottle we had last year.

Classic CdP nose with garrigue. Slight truffle coming through on the palette. Still young.

Gone bad. Tawny cloudy color, vinegar sour.
