Still holding its own, it's got many good years left. Very Cab Franc dominant Bordeaux style blend and tannins require some time to open. Aromatic and easy drinking with a great balance of flavors.

A traditional Bordeaux blend (primarily constituted of Cab Sauv in this case) from one of my favorite Santa Cruz growers. What I like about this wine is that all of the grapes come from the SF bay area and that I think it competes with some of the best wines I have had from Napa and Bordeaux, in its own interpretation/way. A plum/cherry red color with a nose of cherry and rosemary. The flavor has very nice raspberry/black berry note with very mellow tannins to balance it all out.
Very excited to have BXR back!
