Last bottle of a rather decent but ordinary CdP, not worth any more cellaring, and not worth going back for, many of Perrin's cheaper offerings have more to offer than this.

Two years on from last bottle, much the same notes just repeat, this will keep I think but can't see the point as it is quite straightforward, drink up.

Not quite what I expected, deep colour but a lighter style, spicy nose, seems to have an obvious grenache slant, medium body not much length, overall a bit disappointing, one dimensional, simple.

not blind I was suprised, good structure and acidity. Reluctant but precise fruit, spicy and with a balanced long finish. At least 5-8 more years aging potential. Now in a nice stage. 92-93

Definitely on the lighter side of the CDP range, with bright red fruit and nice acidity. I don’t imagine it gets much more complex or interesting from here.

Medium ruby. Red fruit, floral notes, forest floor, medicinal herbs. eucalyptus on the nose. Tastes of dominant-Grenache blend - raspberry, strawberry, white pepper spice, rounded, with a medium-long finish. A pleasant wine with good character.

Still a very good wine but could not stand up to the outstanding steak. Great fruit, balance and fresh finish. Feels like grenache dominated. This will probably be very good in about 5 years.

Had this at Gotham B&G in January i believe and we thought it was very good, not sure if vintage was 2014 or this one; BUT it was a very well made wine which paired well with the fish we both had. Trying it again this evening with steak after I found it in Jackson WY.

Vibrant nose of ripe red fruit, blueberry, sweet spice dried herbs, some medicinal nuances too. Medium body with balancing acidity, round and relatively soft with good length and juicy fruit. Quite good balance.

Not as complex as expected - a lighter expression. But still a good wine. A bit expensive though I think. Do not buy again.
