Bought direct at initial offering. Drank in Zalto Burgandy glasses. Not a wine snob, just enjoy putting the same amount of effort into drinking the wine as they made in producing it.
Opened up slowly, so don’t rush in. Great nose. Instantly brought me back to the tasting we did in the cave.
Fresh, spring morning. Yes, a ton of psychologically placed human strings being pulled. A big fan of Todd’s .
Sunshine and happiness along with dark cherries and raspberries . A slight tangy grip to that grips for about a minute.
Just really enjoyable.
If you have unopened bottles no need to rush. Lots of life left.
Best, David

Still not feeling the CA Pinot Noirs. At an obscene 15.6% alcohol, it lacks any elegance I expect from the varietal. That said, it is well built wine and readily drinkable.

All Carneros fruit, this is ripe and unctuous, with a Russian River nuance focus: red fruit, cola, red spice and earthy. A medium finish and a gushing persona. Drink now - 2021.

Surprisingly good. Need to find out where the actual vineyards are located, as it appears to be a Pinot from Napa as opposed to Carneros or Russian River. Ready to drink now. Taste did not really change from original opening to airing out a couple hours later, to drinking the balance the next day.

Nice medium to full bodied CVV Pinot with plenty of time left in it. Won't try again for another 5 years.

PnP. This is hitting its stride. Nice secondary notes coming forward that balance out the fruit. Medium bodied, smooth, good finish.

1st bottle of a case bought during their flash sale. Very fruit forward with some spicy notes. Easy drinking but not that interesting.

Excellent, just what I expect from a CVV Pinot.

Decanted and consumed over the next few hours. An edgy Pinot that just never mellowed. High alcohol at 15.6%. Second bottle with similar experience.
