My really last bottle; a tad less expressive and impressive than some previous bottles, however showing superb and subtle vanilla/wood in combination with a very refined acidity, but overall, as I said, a tad less convincing.

At day 1: 94 points, super, super refined in its bouquet with a mix of perfectly dosed vanilla, flowers and ripe citrus; an elegant and very balanced, super pure taste and finish. At day 2: 92 points, still great, but not as superbly balanced as the day before. I think it was my last bottle.

Superbly elegant and persistent day 1 (93 points), more pronounced and slightly edgy day 2 (92+ points). Twice a lovely and very pure Burgundy with very elegant and well dosed vanilla. The wine has a slightly minty and ripe citrus core, a flowery/vanilla bouquet and a refined aftertaste with a light touch of almonds.

In the finish all comes together, the bouquet with violets and very well dosed elegant vanilla, the concentrated and pure taste, the ripe backbone and finally the gentle whiff of almonds.

Visiting London, Galway, Dublin and Paris; 9/14/2019-9/29/2019 (England, Ireland and France): Sampled from a 375 cc bottle, this straw-colored Chardonnay flaunts a nice core of pit fruits, lime zest, honeysuckle and wet stones. Light-to-medium-bodied, freshly acidic and with a restrained amount of spicy oak, it maintains good energy throughout and shows no heat from its 13% alcohol. Finishing long and crisp, this is an excellent white Burgundy that is a standout for the appellation. Enjoy it over the next 3-4 years. Drink now-2023.

A bit surprised at how good this one was. Very good QPR. Could easily have been identified as a village level Burgundy from the Côte D’or. Good fruit and acidity; some oak but not at all obtrusive. Drinking beautifully now.

Very light yellow in color. White flowers and pitted fruits on the nose. Although it incorporates some apple and peach, pear is the predominate flavor. Hints of tropical fruit. Easy to drink and hard to put down. Good balance. A wisp of vanilla but no buttery oak. Crisp and clean finish. Excellent QPR. After doing my tasting note I was surprised to read it was finished in 25% new oak. For me much less noticeable than most Cali Chards.

Crisp Yellow apple, pear, popcorn kernel, palate is ripe with judicious oak. Taut but fleshy. Caramel on finish. Nice long finish. This is a winner. Very nice value

By the glass from a bottle oped for some time but still a good glimpse representation of the wine. Still we will not rate this time round. Quite a mineral, linear and devout of over oaky / over ripe elements. a bit of chablis feel at times but with more fatty fruit. Good wine and felt easily like an ~89. hopefully next time it will be a fresher bottle.

Just enough oak and butter on to appease our American palates, but none of the excess found in Napa; perfect acidity to give a nice crisp bite on the finish; at with Dover Sole and they matched for an enjoyable dinner; great value for price point

Aroma: oak, butter, grass. Palate: moderately rich apple and pit fruit flavors with mineral and oaky notes. Nicely balanced richness and acidity. Good QPR.

Tasted at about 60 F. Medium yellow straw color. Redolent nose comes off as definitely riper than the 2014 Montagne Latour which is at least consistent with the reputation of the vintages. Interesting to taste these two Cote Chalononnaise adjacent to each other. Aroma of honey and maybe pineapple hint of citrus, medium body with decent acidity on the medium finish. I like the wine but would like a little more to remember it by on the finish.

Tropical fruit. Nice acidity, crispy apple. Nice fruity finish. For me, not as good as the 2014.

Still really good stuff. Has the honeycomb, fruit, toasty oak, and minerality. Too bad its up at $30 instead of $20, but there it is.
