Pinot in the City (Chicago, IL): Walk-around tasting, brief note. Substantial step up. Ripe cherry aromas with lots of spice. Also ripe, nearly sweet but the structure and concentration to retain much better balance. Good energy on finish with soft, fun tannins. Good to enjoy now.

Proto-typical Willamette Valley Pinot Noir. Fruit, rosehips, and hints of cola up front, backed by appealing textures and structure. It should evolve for another five to seven years, perhaps ten, and last through 2032+.

PnP and enjoyed alone and then had some Chinese food with it and it was a nice paring.
The nose was a little tight but after about 40 minutes it was showing a more relaxed state. Soft but bright cherry, earth and mineral all working well together.
The palate was clean and bright. Red cherry, mushrooms and a nice mineral backbone and finish. Not overly complex but very enjoyable right now and for the next several years no doubt.

Very, very good. Lots of fruity. Balanced. Drinking well despite its young age. One of the best Revana's I have had. May even be better than a 93 rating.

balanced between red and black fruit. Neither too fruity nor too austere. Great mouth feel, still a lot of structure. Can go to 2022 or more.

Corked. The cork was cracked in places and wine seeping out. Stored in a wine fridge since purchase.

Delicious medium-bodied, complex Pinot. Drank with Christmas Eve Ribeye dinner. Opened about an hour before drinking.
