Deep ruby color. Medium intensity aromas of ripe black fruits - blackberry, cassis, plum and black cherry with some bramble, woodsy notes. I also get some green bell pepper, black pepper, mint and tobacco. Subtle oak elements. Its full bodied, with rich, supple tannins easy to drink. High alcohol. Maybe missing some depth. This is a good representation of Valley Floor cabs.

Pnp. I concur with La Cave d`Argent. Pretty much nailed it. Can't really add much here except that I think this relatively cheap Napa cab is possibly a bit more balanced and integrated since he gave his score thereby earning it a couple of more points from me. Great qpr. Drink up.

If you want to introduce others to a well made and consistent CA cab, this would be the one. Good fruit, seamless balance, integrated tannins and just a touch of Rutherford dust on the finish.

There is a lot to like about this well-priced wine from prime vineyards in (arguably) the most prestigious Napa Valley appellation for Cabernet Sauvignon. Opaque crimson and brimming with black currants, it adds notes of dark plums, bittersweet chocolate and loamy earth. This is a full-bodied, fresh, seamlessly alcoholic (14.6%) wine with good purity of fruit. The tannins are medium in weight and quite fine-grained, giving the wine a silky mouth texture. There is no mistaking the toasty oak component here, but it seems to work. Medium in length and smooth on the back end, this is a well-crafted Cabernet that should easily see its tenth birthday. Drink now-2024.

Higher new oak, 18 months and more concentrated and structure. A little touch of Petite Sirah in there. More fresh on the palate than the Napa Valley.

Nice wine. Opened up nwell after an hour plus. Blueberries, a little eucalyptus and fine tannins. Will keep for another few years easily

First of 12. There's a lot to like here. Such a consistent wine from year to year. It's drinking well now.

Very good, deep red/purple color, dark fruit with some spice and mineral.

Rustic, earthy, with some bark bitter chocolate, coffee grounds, and grainy tannin. Lacks some personality.
