BurgundyAl nailed it with "All red fruit, nicely ripe with moderate weight and length for its level." Would add that we found it pretty tightly wound and in need of a long decant or more cellar time.

Appearance: Garnet core which gradually developed towards ruby and clear at the edge of the glass; the wine was not quite transparent.
Aroma: Initially the wine presented itself as reductive, however after some time it showed initial notes of sage, tarragon, and rose petals. The fruit aromas while subdued were characterized as dark cherries, jellied cranberry sauce, and the raspberry reduction funnel cakes are topped with. The faintest aromas were baking spices and liquorice/cola.
Body/Texture: The body of the wine was thin with a medium level of rough tannins.
Taste: The taste of the wine interestingly did not follow the aroma very closely. The wine had medium acid, low+ sweetness, and displayed a palate of loquat, pomegranate, baking spices, tarragon, and white pepper.
Overall Impression: This was an elegant wine but at the moment felt both restrained aromatically and structurally tight. It is on the lighter side in terms of body. It’s strongest quality was a great balance of herbal characteristics and bright fruit. It would be interesting to revisit in a few years.

Really nice bright cherry and strawberry field earth...very intriguing wintergreen tobacco wrapper notes as well.

It's floral, metallic, and earthy. Nose has a certain earthy complexity to it. High citrusy acid on the palate. Clearly drank it too young...
