  • A bit better than last bottle over a year ago - perhaps a lesser expectation. Solid fruit to the nose with peach and apricot. On the palate, apricot, yellow peach > white peach, Asian pear, and slight papaya. Some citrus, mostly lemon, with slight eucalytpus. Very full mouthfeel almost approaching petrol, which was more reminiscent of a riesling. Less acidity than before but slight saltiness still present with age. Overall, not a crisp albarino but nonetheless a nice white that in some ways is more akin to a riesling in style.

  • Full fruit to the nose with peach, apricot and pear but nothing standing out.
On the palate, apricot, yellow peach > white peach, Asian pear, slight papaya, macintosh apple slightly, and maybe some honey. Citrus - more lemon than grapefruit - not orange or lime! Slight eucalytpus. Very full mouthfeel for a white. High acidity, good minerality with slight saltiness to it. Overall, almost flabby for a white - not crisp. Is this the norm for California albarino? Certainly less crisp than Virginia albarino (which is less crisp than Spain/Rias Baixas).

  • Intense nose of citrus and a touch of vanilla. Crisp and refreshing in the mouth, but larger scaled than anticipated. Decent acidity to buttress that frame. Overall a wonderful beach wine, which is where I consumed this.

  • Juicy bright citrusy fruit which stings like grapefruit peel. Fairly full and almost heavy in the finish, which detracts from the freshness

  • Popped and poured after work. Enjoyed over the course of the evening -- making and eating dinner and watching a little TV. Enjoyed the wine --- didn't take formal notes.
