Fantastic nose...beautifully balanced tannins...but the finish is rather ordinary. I bought 2 just to try, but the regular Chimney Rock Cab is just as good as well as many other alternatives that are just as good for half the price.

Barrel tasting of the 2015 Single Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignons.
Deep and dark purplish red. Quite muscular in the plate and nose. Lots of purple floral notes on the nose. Tough and big boy wine that needs a lot of time. Heavy tannins (8.5/10) and full bodied. A bit of iron and minerality. Long finish. (93-95)

Super dark purplish red. A bit tight but with lots of baking spices and cinnamon on the nose. Heavy tannins (8.5/10) and full bodied. A touch of smoothness, with dark cherries. Long and lingering finish. (91-93)

Berry, plum, smooth tannins, bright, young. Can’t wait to drink the next 11 bottles for our anniversary

Love that Napa aroma! Perfect first sip, thick fruit that just begs for food and air.
